Expanding items suitable for tabletops

I was inspired/driven to write this post by this tumblr post by Mikha Sunthistle:

As someone who considers housing to be "end game", I can't beg humbly enough for this.

As an RPer, housing spaces are crucial environments not just for aesthetic reasons, but for character building reasons.

Additionally, my character runs an in game Opera House along with several of my friends, and this would be a HUGE win for us. Allowing for more item types to be used as tabletop items would enable us to produce an ACTUAL raised set to use for our productions. There are several performance Free Companies like ours that would undoubtedly be in the same boat.

Our Maria and Draco production reflects the caliber and type of performances that we try to bring to the community, and this would enable us to actually put our sets up on a stage. This may seem like a small thing to some, but for us it would be so very wonderful.

This would be EXTREMELY ideal, especially where the performance FCs across multiple servers are concerned, so I'm on board for this to happen! I see nothing but benefits for this, and with all the other RP tools that they're giving us in 4.4 (house tags, mannequins, etc.), this would be a welcome addition, whether it comes now, or in the future.

(The housing/decorating system in general has needed an upgrade to begin with, lbvs. xD There's no reason that I should need to make use of glitches just to be able to create a loft, especially considering that I'm not good with working with the exploits to begin with. ^^; )

This would be amazing! I'm another RPer, of course, but just for decorating housing it gives so many more options for lofts and such!!
