Confused on Raid drops

So I am still unsure of how raids drops work entirely when doing the alliance raids like Rabanastre. I do understand that once you roll on a drop and get it, that is the only drop you get. Where i get confused on is how do resets work in regards to all loot drops. Is it set on a weekly timer or daily like trials/dungeons?

I do remember reading that the loot drops from the bosses only reset weekly but does that also apply to the tomestone drops as well or just the gear they drop? I run raids through the roulette but I am not sure if that would change anything as far as drops rates and resets or not.

Any info I can get on how this all works would be wonderful and greatly appreciated!

In the newest raids you only get one piece of gear per week. It also applies to some special rewards you get at the end like the coins that can be used to upgrade gear etc.
You can get as many tomestones as you like unless you're at your overall (2000) or weekly (450) limit on tomes.
Weekly things like that reset on Tuesdays at 3PM UTC (if I'm not mistaken).

- Tomestones from boss kills can be received as often as you run the raid, as long as you're not at the capacity limit as listed in the currency tab. A red error message will also appear in your chat window if you go over a tomestone limit.
- If you're doing the roulette, then the roulette's bonus rewards (extra tomestones, etc) can only be received once per day.
- Gear is a weekly reward when the raid is new. Older raids, you can receive gear with no limitation. If a weekly gear limitation is in place, there will be a message saying this when you open the loot box to cast your lot.
* For raids with weekly limitations, you can open the duty finder window and view the raid's description. If you scroll to the bottom, it will show you if you've received the weekly rewards. (2/3 on the weekly rewards typically means you've received guaranteed weekly drops for finishing the raid, but you haven't received your weekly gear reward yet).

The reset times can be viewed in the following locations:

All weeklies: /timers Custom Deliveries or Fashion Report; /currency Battle tab; and /challengelog

Crafting/gathering daily turn in lists reset: /timers Next Mission Allowance or Rowena's House of Splendors; or in the Rowena's House of Splendors collectibles turn in window when interacting with a collectible appraiser NPC

Any dailies that are not crafting/gathering turn in lists: The reset time is JP midnight. This is 0700 PST / 0800 PDT. Note that there is a difference between standard and daylight times.

And since no one has pointed this out specifically, the only alliance(24 man) raid that has the gear limit restriction right now is The Ridoranna Lighthouse. All of the level 50 and 60 raids, along with Royal City, are uncapped.
