Is the UI stored server or client side?

I am considering changing from a PS4 to a PS4 pro. If I do, I really don't want to have to spend hours setting the UI back up for all my characters. Is the UI data stored serverside?

If not, anyone know if transferring PS4 data between consoles will carry over my UI settings?

It is stored client side, along with your gear sets, kexybinds and hotbars for excample.

There is an option in the login window to backup this data.
Please don't hit me if it is not available on PS4.

It's stored client side. On PS4, this is in the save game files. There's one save file that has your System Configuration settings, and then one per character that holds a wide array of things: Character Configuration settings, HUD layouts, hotbars, gear sets, etc.. If you transfer the save files over to your PS4 Pro, you should have all of that.

If you happen to have PS+, you can store your data to the cloud then download it onto the PS4 Pro as well.

Even your inventory slots are stored client side. What I mean is where each item is in your inventory.

I use to play on both my laptop and desktop and each time i swapped my inventory would get all messed up. I ended up having to use Google drive to sync the client save files between computers.
