imo they already did more than I expected to help inventory during SB. they increased inv/armory space as much as servers can handle, added a saddlebag for even more space in a less server stressy way, changed the max item stack from 99 to 999, added a dresser for gear, added a storeroom to apartment/house for furnishings. If all those things and having retainers isn't enough then I think people would just always run out of space no matter how it is addressed by hoarding too much. oh, and they moved ventures, tribe tokens to currency window. they've done a lot.

I think at that point you have to wonder why a Triple A company struggles to get servers to support constant actions? Anyways like someone else said its basic deflection. The fact of the matter is they have never addressed their rushed ARR reboot and have left many systems to get worse and worse over time with each patch compounding what should have been a small hill into a giant mountain. It should have been expected that they would slowly try and hammer out the kinks over time to eventually get to a point where basic wants from the community shouldn't have been riddled with limitations but as the App proves that as long as there is a way to monetize it they'll find a reason to not do it for your meager sub cost.

FWIW, it's not servers, it's the netcode and data storage structure and methodology. That's why it's such a "mountain" at this point - so many things are built on top of the shaky foundation that it's the highest of high risk jobs to change now. It's basically "tech debt."

WoW had a similar issue with its inventory and glamour system that took nearly 12 years to entirely fix, so it's not actually that uncommon a problem. Of course it's incredibly frustrating and nobody likes to hear about the reasons a company you're paying can't accomplish something. (If anything, the problem is that the staff here have been more open than many about the technical limitations they face to the point where it just frustrates people since it sounds like "excuses" -- even if makes sense to the few software developers in the audience.)

Tbh I forget I even downloaded it half the time. My only soul use for it is keeping up with free company events.
