I feel like any guilt about tricking Gegeruju was absolved by the optional (and thorougly ironic) dialogue you get if you speak to him once you're free to return to the Prima Vista:

Gegeruju: Away with you, adventurer. After enjoying a glass or three of this tantalizing tonic, I mean to fill the bottle with some cheap Hingan swill I just purchased from a representative of the East Aldenard Trading Company, recork it, and then sell it to one of my rivals in Ul'dah for a ridiculous profit! Wah hah hah hah hah!
I felt worse for Shamani Lohmani, seeing as Hancock basically ruined his chance of recreating the actual wine, but that's not our fault. He just forced it upon us. (But let's say we went back in Drest's rubbish heap afterwards checking if there was another one for him....)

Also I used to think Gegeruju was nice enough, but less so after the Samurai quest where he seemed far too pleased with us killing off one of his business rivals (granted, also a serial killer we'd unmasked) and told us he'd cover the whole thing up so nobody knew it happened. I hated the samurai quests in general though. Weird morality.
