Battle Command Design -PLEASE FIX IT

They tried the game; they hated it cuz it wasn't a WoW clone; and now they're going to ruin it for XI fans by trying to make it more appealing to *their* community.

This game was never targeted at FF11 players, if you look at the interviews prior to beta, Tanaka wanted a casual experience similar to WOW and Yoshida seems to have a similar vision.

Simply you are not getting your battle command list back, deal with it.

Because what they have right now is kind of half ar$$ of everything... Doesnt satisfy the controller players nor the PC gamers...

Isn't this being addressed in 2.0 though, man did any of you read that PDF stuff or do you just assume and complain.

Sorry to "necro" my own thread, but I haven't been on the forums later, and just saw this post. Seriously, dude, that's the most ASININE comment I think I've ever read on these forums. And over the past year on these forums, I've come across a lot of ignorant sh$% on here; so that's saying a lot.

You have no idea how hard it is for me to refrain from raging about how similar this game is to XI. But to say that the developers weren't even targeting XI fans when they envisioned this game? Are you KIDDING me?!

I'm just going going to take a quote from someone on "your side of the fence," and post it here for you:

The thing is, like you stated in this paragraph, XI and XIV are mostly only similar in appearance and aesthetic. The main reason behind this (which has been stated in interviews) is that XIV started out as an HD remake of XI, and then the team took it in a new direction.
