How do you see replies here in forum?

Dumb question, I know. But please bear with this.

1. How would you know if you had reply from other people? Do you get notifications or you should browse once in a while yourself?

2. I've seen various icon colors. Red, yellow, gray and the one with the crown. Can anyone explain to this potato?

Scroll down to the bottom of the forum website while you're under "general discussions"

The crown means a CM/GM replied.

Sadly you don't get any notifications (that I know of) if you have a reply to your post/thread.

Edit: Found a setting for notifications! You need to subscribe to a thread (at the top of the OP click "thread tools" then "subscribe") and then edit the notification settings under your subscriptions in settings.

I just found this so I'm not sure if it will ding you outside the forums or what.

By default it will subscribe you to any thread you've posted in. You also have the options to subscribe or unsubscribe to specific threads through that "thread tools" link.

If you go to the "Settings" link in the top right of the page (next to the logout button), there's a page that will list any threads you're subscribed to that have new posts in them. It doesn't specify whether any of those new posts are a direct reply to yours or not, but it's a good starting point for finding any that could be.

A feature I use frequently is Quick Links menu Subscribed Threads options. This gives a quick list of my subscriptions and updated threads are at the top of the list.
