2. Visit Rising Attendant NPC
3. Learn of token requirement and existence of "The Calamity Retold"
4. Per 3, learn of Rising Recruiter NPC that is required to enter "The Calamity Retold"
5. NPC does not (or presently has not) spawned approx 12-13 hours after event going live
>>5.1 NPC spawned a full 21 hours after the event went live before disappearing after a period of three hours

I am also experiencing this problem on the Zalera server.
Two people claim to have seen the NPC, but for some reason neither one participated, and they do not have any of the token rewards. I find it well within reason to deduce that they're either trolling, or have fallen for another player's trolling actions (every server at this point has a Player Character named "Rising Recruiter" to poke fun at how broken and/or poorly implemented this seasonal quest has been)

He appeared last night on Phoenix, got to try the instance, then went to do Eureka for a bit. When I came back to Ul'dah, he was gone again, haven't been seen since, I think :/

I am also experiencing this on the Jenova server. There seems to be no NPC named Rising Recruiter in any of the three major city states located in or outside of the city.

NPC spawned last night on NA servers from 12am to 3am EST. It’s unconfirmed right now if the spawn times will be the same for NA (it’s different times for EU and JP), or if it will be completely random for the duration of the event.

If the event was just the dialogue with the NPC, i would have been disappointed, and moved on.

But this waiting around for hours in Uldah has me absolutely livid.
They finally make an instance based on the calamity, which ive always wished they would, and its a rare event, that ill probably end up missing out on.

Basically, this. I was really looking forward to this event when I heard about it being an instance called “The Calamity Retold”. As someone who didn’t get to experience 1.0 due to technical limitations, despite the trash I hear people say, I am still really curious about it. So I was excited and curious to see what this instance would be like. Aaaaand then it spawns at 11pm my time after I’ve already laid down to go to bed for the night.

Honestly hate thinking of unsubbing over small stuff, but this really has made me almost as mad as when Yoshi claimed DRK was just fine on SB launch, and that WAR was the one who needed fixes.

Moogle too is having the same issue. Even the day after the event started, there has been no sign of the recruiter NPC.

Wait, so is this a timed thing? The recruiter isn't supposed to be there all the time? Or is this really a bug and the recruiter is disappearing when they aren't supposed to? I'm very confused about how this is supposed to work.

No sign of the Rising Recuiter on Famfrit, I've checked all 3 Cities, nothing.

Recruiter spawned 10 minutes ago in Zalera, 1:12pm PST, now is gone... I think there's a pattern here.
