Fat Chocobo in problems

Hey people

So, I was wondering if anyone did encounter this situation, but.. I just flew around on my Elephant in the Azim Steppe, before I decided "Hey.. haven't seen my fat chocobo in a long while."
Well, long story short: I jumped off the edge at the throne and sank like the Titanic. My fat chocobo suddenly cannot fly? o_o
My friends fattie did what it was supposed to be, but mine is in flying denial. Which is weird, 'cuz he had no trouble flying at all before and I have all the Aether currents -_-

Somebody knows, what is happening? :'D

It can fly. Did you do the quest to enable your grand company chocobo to fly back in HW? If I remember correctly, it also enables the fat chocobo to fly.

I did the quest. All my other mounts, that are capable of flying do so. Just my fat chocobo won't lift its butt up in the air anymore.

There's a bug sometimes when jumping off something. If you jump off something on your mount too soon after mounting (I think) you drop like a stone. I have had it a few times since HW. I notice it the most with my ceremony chocobo.

I waited after mounting, relogged, checked both HW and SB - it doesn't fly o_o and it did before without trouble.

Could be that he just got too fat and so gravity overtake hin and he can no longer fly. You have to admit there's a point where if you get too fat you just can't do anything in this case you can no longer fly cuz he's just too obese.
