Level 70 battlecraft rings... Why is there no market for them?

I'm nearing max level with goldsmith and in the past, I've made several million gil selling level 50 (agate) rings and level 60 (triphane) rings. Those were a great choice and there was a solid market for them.

I was expecting that level 70 battlecraft rings (imperial jade) would be a bigger market because of their predictability. They are the ultimate, max level rings. Yet when I checked, no one was selling them. And when I checked the buying history, there were periods where for A WHOLE MONTH, nobody bought any...

What's going on here? Is there no one selling them because of a lack of max level goldsmiths? Or no one is selling them because there's no market for them?

At this point, likely no market for them.

They're not.
They're equivalent to ARR's Rose Gold or HW's Citrine accessories. They've already been replaced by Black Willow/Silvergrace accessories in Master Book VI. The equivalent of the two you mentioned won't come out until the next expansion (they were added with Heavensward and Stormblood respectively).

There is no market for them. if someone is going to buy a lvl 70 ring they will most likely buy the best ones they can. silvergrace is currently ilvl 350. imperial jade ones are ilvl 290.

Even i350 is slowing down. I still make a few mils per week on them but it noticeable sells are dying. Of course there is reasons for this - We're a few weeks from a patch that will give us i380 crafted gear.

Why buy a bad ring when you can just get better gear from any dungeon?
The only accesories worthwhile are the ones above i345, which is the highest normal dungeon drop.
And even for 350 you might just farm sigmascape normal for i350 ones. Added to that, Sigma V1S (O6S) is so easy to do by now, people could just drag someone with 330 accesories through and he could get i370 ones.

The only accesories worth buying right now are the i350 crafted blackwillow/silvergrance accesories, since those can also be upgraded to i360.
If you are planning to go UwU and don't want to remeld your accesories, those hq i360 ones are also a great placeholder until you get your second i370 accesory set together.

The Imperial Jade accessories are entry-level items for level 70 gear. You can very easily get better gear than that just from the first few level 70 dungeons and much better gear as you continue.
The crafted accessories that would sell are the Silvergrace set - which is actually useful for the endgame.

They were a stepping stone between AF3 & verity gear when it first came out, and within a couple of weeks you could have a verity ring & a deltascape ring. Now that we're up to mendacity and sigmascape there's literally no reason to get imperial jade. People who don't do the content to get mendacity/omega gear won't care if they have higher ilvl anyway.
