Troll. if you want the tattoo or other legacy items you should have supported the game and played in 1.0 - no ifs ands or buts. No.So since we got the great White Ravens from people who played 1.0, I thought I'd make this request. Can we get the tattoo on our characters next Rising Event too? I'd love to get a tattoo back there.
If you can't make it for the event, I'll buy it on the mog station too. So please?

I've been supporting the game for years now. Just because I didn't make an account in 1.x time, I can't have it?
Remember. You didn't even need that 3 month sub stuff. Just a character. Doesn't sound like much support was needed.

The tattoo was made specifically for people who played 1.0. As I said before it has literally no other function other than mark someone as a 1.0 player. It's not like statted gear or a mount that has another built-in function.
This really is not the same as the earrings which are statted gear that clearly could be used for combat classes. Also the earrings were not awarded for the act of subbing in 1.0, they were awarded for killing a specific boss. Their exclusivity was of a different nature to the tattoo. SE introducing one 1.0 shiny doesn't automatically mean all should be up for grabs.

The collector’s edition of 1.0 came with a free digital copy of the game. My girlfriend used mine to make her character, played it for about an hour, and (understandably) decided the game was awful and not worth playing further.
That character she made? She could resub at any time, and she’d have a legacy mark just like mine. So how exactly did she “earn” or “support” the game, seeing as she spent $0 and less than 60 minutes on it?

Maybe you should educate yourself as to the requirements for a legacy character. The collector’s edition of 1.0 came with a free digital copy of the game. I do want to make a little note here.
A Legacy character was only required to have the character exist in 1.0. There were no other requirements.
A legacy account needed 90 days of sub time, and gives the rewards such as cheaper subs, not the tattoo.
All the tattoo cared about was if you played for even 5 minutes in 1.x's time.

It's a little more than that. You also had to buy 1.0 and activate it/create your character before November 2012. While the subscription might have been free for a long time, buying the game was not.
Yes... and you didn't qualify, so no tattoo. I didn't pay enough gametime to qualify for a legacy account, I can't have that. It's just how it is. You can't have everything you want.
