In fact, people asked houses for everyone, we always ask it.
This system break a promise and... dont give house for everyone. BUT it was a cheap way to say "hey, we do efforts" (without limiting house to 1 per account that... that would have been in the begining a good idea...)

But heh, better destroy houses that doing what is needed to ensure 1 house per account. . . Players was crying about empty houses because they were jealous to seeing some not used and themselves not having one... They were right to be jealous, but the real way to solve the matter is... more wards (and more and more... ) OR ... instanced housing?


But no, Yoshida dont want instance housing, because the game is better without, but have to improve housing to not being catch up by other MMORPG he said recently... For this we should already have 1 house per player like other MMORPG no?
Better not moving from the promise to no instance housing... than no destroying system... But he did choose the easiest and cheapest way. Not the way to solve the matter.



Finally, is it not the matter with the white raven we have now, and this topic ? The cheapest way to do reward is taking what was V1.0 player's exclusivity. Nothing to create, Cheapest way...

Oh, and you said we did push to have it asap? sure? where did you read it? Because what i read was that the 2.3 wouldnt have the personnal housing even if it was theorically 6 month after FC housing, but to wait we had personnal room... and was quite good. Also i always said i would prefer no personnal housing than what we have now. i many time suggested to remove ALL personnal housing, to allow only FC housing, and limit characters to personnal room (in FC or not). And take the time needed (1 year, 2 years, 5 years, 10 years?) to make a real personnal housing... No we didnt push this, we just asked where was this close to the time they said they will give it... I am dumb i know, you say me "in three month i give you this" i come back three month later asking where is it... I can even admit delay, cancelation if it is better than breaking the system...


And when you say me "try to win this before the server closes because after you wont be able to get it" i dont think you will trick me with such change in your mind...
