    Why is this being rolled out data center by data center?

    Some have it and some don't.

    A dev should have been in here to explain this or at least give an update a LONG time ago.

    Veteran healers don't care if we need to heal, but right now we don't. We want interesting things to do during the downtime other than a 30s dot and a single filler spell that hasn't changed from lvl 4 to lvl 90.
    Dead DPS do no DPS. Raised DPS do 25/50% lower DPS. Do the mechanics and don't stand in bad stuff.
    Other games expect basic competence, FFXIV is pleasantly surprised by it. Other games have toxic elitism. FFXIV has toxic casualism.[/LIST]

    It's sunday. NA community team works M-F during PDT business hours.

    That being said, if the event was going to be rolled out in waves, or is based on time zones, then that information probably should have been stated on the lodestone information page so people aren't just standing around waiting for no reason.

    hmm maybe its a programming bug and it possibly didn't happen on japan, cause I think the event started exactly at midnight on japan, which is the next day o.o and probably no one there work at this time, then it finally started on EU when day changed and maybe it'll start on NA at that time too

    edit:
    From what I gathered the event started on EU at Germany's midnight that is where the EU servers are located, so the bug probably didn't happened at JP cause the event itself started there at their midnight and it'll possibly start for us on NA at midnight PDT time, that is the timezone where our server is located.
    They probably decided to not fix that, cause the event will start anyway and to fix that they would have to restart the servers I believe
