How come the translation differed from the different clients, and none of them provided a clear explanation ?

Because it is never direct translation but "localisation". Basically, they translate it however they want as long as the general meaning stay the same.

I understand, but how come none of them gave an accurate description of what we got ? French localisation said random, English didn't mention randomness at all.
In the end, we have time windows.

It may be localisation, but they both failed to deliver the right message.

That's for sure, i never liked their way of translating. But i can't read Japanese so... can't do much about it.
