Is there proof a GM said this?

I have no proof, I have asked those shouters for proof, but they said they had conversations with GM's.
Hence why I said "if i go by what people are shouting here"

For myself I can confirm the recruiter has not spawned on Omega within the past 10 hours, we're starting to think a crazy 12 hour spawntime, though some are thinking it's 24... *sigh*

Myself and my friends are Oceanic. They didn't get to do it because it spawned during work hours and hasn't come back up yet at our 2am... so.

Edit: In related news, I guess they have kept those earrings "exclusive". By making the event so annoying to do, people won't do it. Or, won't even know it exists. Hope all them 1.0 players are happy.

The big cities turned into the Waiting-Simulator. People just standing around and waiting for the NPC to spawn.
SE, this is ridiculous. Stop doing ridiculous things, that make no sense.

If they really didn't want the recruiter NPC to be available at all times, why wasn't a schedule posted somewhere such as the event page on the website, and why isn't it mentioned anywhere that it's not always available? It's such a weird thing to handle it like this, leaving people to wonder if there's a bug or what's going on, only to then be told it's working as intended.

Because they try to promote the community to gather together to figure all this out. /s

Seriously, people don't like camping for hours and do nothing. At least they should have give us a spawn time and not this shenanigan.
I sure hope it isn't only 1 time at a day. When it spawned on Balmung, I was asleep, cause in my timezone, it was around 5/6am. What fun is it that no one knows what's going on and we need to play detective ourself and alot of people have just limited time frame to play?

I have no words for the sheer level of ineptitude on display. At this point, I really do have to question if the devs have simply given up or that SE has straggled their budget for other projects. When you can't even get an event right...

The real sad part is people aren't going to remember the actual Rising or talk about nifty expansion hints like we have done in the past. The only subject dominating all discussion is how poorly thought out this event is. What a shame.
