I don't mind about the random npc spawn but it would have been nice if the attendant npc told you at what time the event would be running from.

The way this is rolling out is a complete fiasco.

Must have missed it. Since, well... nothing ^^"
What could of been an event completed in about 15mins or so for most players is being dragged a little unnecessarily. I feel they could of allocated certain windows for the event to pop rather than having to wait around.

How am I supposed to have a nromal day or even week plan if I need to sit around for an uncertain amount of hours? This event is as much not real life conform as the fact that my relationship is getting questioned by pagos....

Has any one kind of a rough calculation of the spawn and D spawn times of the NPC?

The way it's being rolled out completely screws over casual players with limited time to play.
THIS. IS. BEYOND. BAD.
Veteran healers don't care if we need to heal, but right now we don't. We want interesting things to do during the downtime other than a 30s dot and a single filler spell that hasn't changed from lvl 4 to lvl 90.
Dead DPS do no DPS. Raised DPS do 25/50% lower DPS. Do the mechanics and don't stand in bad stuff.
Other games expect basic competence, FFXIV is pleasantly surprised by it. Other games have toxic elitism. FFXIV has toxic casualism.[/LIST]

It's getting annoying checking if the npc spawned each hour to find out that it hasn't. I've had a free morning and will be busy all afternoon/evening so I'm just supposed to miss the npc pop and then come back tomorrow and hopefully get lucky and it spawns?
I really can't get my head around how no one in the team meeting pointed out how ridiculous the idea was.
