    Ninja looking for advice

I recently leveled, geared and learned a raid opener for Ninja. A lot of cooldowns revolve around Trick Attack. What I'm looking for advice over is if I miss a cooldown or a mechanic interrupts the flow of cooldowns should I use it immediately or wait and sync it back into the cool down rotation.

you want to sync your dream within a dream with your tricks, kassatsu every 2 tricks(unless add phase coming and you can use it in your favor like v5s)and normally you should have either a bhava or frog for most tricks. if there's downtime you want to trick after at least u have slashing back up and after either your first or second combo(avoid after your finishers)so u can get 2 3rd combo skill into the trick. also when you know the fight you can plan better when to trick after said downtimes w/o losing a cast in the fight.

First off thank you for replying! This is excellent advice and i learned from it but it doesn't quite answer my question. Let me re-ask the question in a more detailed way. I'm going be strictly talking about Kassatsu but i feel i applies to all cooldowns but for ease Kassatsu. Kaassatsu has a ninety second cooldown meaning that it lines up with the First and third Trick attack, if used on cooldown without any delay. What I'm trying to figure out is if/when due to mechanics or me not being a robot I dont hit that cooldown right as it pops it then becomes out of sync with the rest of the general "ideal" rotation lets say 15 seconds are missed. Do i use Kassatsu "sub optimally" (by using it outside of a trick attack window) or do i hold on to the cooldown and realign it with the rotation. I feel like this is a very small amount of dps over all but i would like to know when something is wrong how to address it. ideally I'm a machine and all my cooldowns go off as soon as they are available and that's what i will continue to strive but that can not always be the case. I am a man, i can change,if i have to, i guess.

i'm not sure if you meant kassatsu or duality since kassatsu has a 2 minute cd, not 90secs. if you meant kassatsu, if it gets out of sync, you can use it 'suboptimaly' w/o aligning it with trick if it will net you an extra usage in the fight, but since kassatsu resets ur mudra its a bit more complicated than that- you would ideally want to use it as soon as u used another mudra, and not like when the mudra is say around 10 secs cd. if you mean duality(the one 90secs cd) if it gets delayed by more than 15 secs you should probably save it for the next trick window as long as it wont cost you an extra usage in the fight. if you still learning a fight or don't know when the boss is gonna die just use it on cd to make sure you don't lose an extra usage.

Like said above, unless you really know what you are doing and are capable of telling whether or not you're gonna miss one usage by delaying that CD a bit longer you should simply use it asap.
For Kassatsu you'll wait for your next Ninjutsu before doing so or at least for the Ninjutsu's timer to be above 15sc to avoid messing up the whole Ninjutsu rotation even though this is definitely way easier to re-aline by using TCJ or whatever.
