A currency inventory storage

I say take 2 of the 3 key items sections (70 slots) and change them to a currency only storage. Example items that could be placed in this would be totems, data logs, Eureka crystals, Clusters (cracked clusters), Rowena's various tokens and anything else that is used only to buy something from a vendor.

There are WAY WAY WAY more key item inventory slots than will ever be used. Lets make use of these for something else that consumes a lot of inventory space.

I'd say just move all those things to the currency window, alongside the tomestones, beast tribe currencies, GC seals, crafting scrips, and so on. They seem a better fit there. (But either way, I agree with you that they shouldn't be taking up regular inventory space. Key Items would be better than where they are now.)

I don't think the Key Items inventory works the way you think it does. I seem to recall reading that the visible space isn't explicitly indicative of Key Items storage. Just change your inventory view from/to expanded to see how the tab can seem to have a different number of slots. The reality is it simply has as many slots as it needs at any given time. What's more, it's not nearly so simple a task to just change one inventory type into another. You'd be far better off simply requesting the items be converted to actual currencies in much the same way as ventures and beast tribe tokens were.

It sounds like strain on the system to have every single piece of 'alternative' currency that is used to trade for something else. The amount that would be covered under this would be too much to be constantly updated, the currency tab is not intended to be an update every 1-2 months etc

Not to mention you currently you cannot click on items in your currency tab if you make looking to trade making it difficult to select multiple items, (i e. a pre-aug weapon + upgrade item). Things like totems and tokens etc are not really currency in the same sense, it can also be a spoiler nightmare. Oh look I can see there is Alexander gears, or Omega items on my currency, now I know what to expect in the future... major spoilers right there. Even the tomestones like Creation or upcoming Genesis do not give away the story in the same way. Just need to better manage your inventory that's all.
