Sho86's post is accurate. Small plots open up every single day on the server. When the monster hunter crossover was released, there was 10 small plots available for purchase for nearly an entire day and it wasn't because of the hidden timer, people were just doing other things. The economy is pretty strong and doesn't suffer from inflation unlike non populated servers.
