This is Honey Badger. She has no Gil, a so-so garden and only 1 plot of land. But Honey Badger doesn't give a Sh*t, because Honey Badger has a Gold Toilet.
And such is an example of the freedom I hope our housing system will provide. I would like to 'idea dump' my concepts for Housing, Gardening and the features it could have.
-Standard room is included with aquiring personal house
-Additional rooms can be purchased after a house expansion quest
has been successfully completed.
-Room building could be dependant on Co-op Crafts by CRP and BSM or simply bought from an NPC
-Rooms can be moved and interchanged so the ‘Main room’ can later
become a room of a different position
- Brick type, Wallpaper, Paint (Alchemists?) can all be chosen and changed, perhaps you buy a 'base model' room then can customize these things
-Hallways could be an optional purchased feature as could a room
with plumbing, fireplace, greenhouse etc
-All rooms would have Mana (Electricity or Enchantments)
Gardens should be purchased and placed much the same
-meaning yes you can have an all garden plot of land and live in the shed like the poor Lala you are because you spent all your Gil on a gold toilet.
-Events should include a prize of ‘Themes’ for housing and gardens
-Event prize: Christmas House Exterior theme (Makes house gingerbread)
Valentiones Garden theme (turns grass and trees pink)
Easter furniture prize: Basket of eggs (place in garden/house)
Pre existing Task board Expansion:
The task board could also be a place players can host Want-Advertisments.
-Have general items crafted
-Hire for home renovation/expansion
-Hire for landscaping (perhaps Miner, Bontanist and Fisher could be required for installing Gardens, making land lower of higher, creating rivers, fountains and fish ponds.
-Have furniture crafted
