FFXIV Checklist 4.0 Is Now Live

Ever wanted a checklist that helps you keep track of just about everything to make sure you're getting the most out of your Final Fantasy XIV experience? Leves? Sure! Logs? Of course. FATEs? Achievements? Quests? Minions? Mounts? Orchestrion Rolls? Triple Triad? Yes to them all! Corrections, questions, suggestions, salutations, and loot are all welcome. I created this to settle my own OCD brain, but I hope that others will find this helpful and enjoyable as well. Make sure to begin by selecting your first class!

The only sensible feedback/suggestion I could probably give, is making it a web-based resource as opposed to a spreadsheet. Granted it works perfectly and has volumes upon volumes upon information. It helps when newer patches and expansions are released so information can be ticked off without copying and pasting over regularly. But otherwise an amazing job, truly. Can say I'll be using it as it's a nice all-in-one without threading all over gamerscape, and various other resources

An understandable concern, but I am hoping to (learn to) use the advanced querying options in Excel 2016 to automatically import from older versions to new. The hardest part for this will definitely be the steps from 4.0 to 4.3 by fixing mistakes and making entries which I may have missed. Going forward after that it should be much easier because as new content comes out it should just go to the end. (I hope). I know this handicaps people that may not have Office 2016, but if someone mails me their old version and asks me to import it for them I don't see that as too much of an imposition.

Edit: But for the record, if anyone has the know-how and a website that they host and want to convert it to web-based, they have my blessing so long as it is done intact.

Already started work on 4.1. I swear I'll actually get to playing the game at some point. All input it appreciated.

I have been using your sheet to update and track my progress and overall it is a really awesome sheet! Great job! I do love it to bits.

A few qualms I had with it I fixed myself, but I shall put the feedback here anyways. The biggest being that the fishing log and to a lesser extent the gathering logs aren't formatted the same way as in game. I.E. the fishing log was sorted by level rather than location like it is in game. I see why you organized it as you did, but I think an option for people to have version where it is 1:1 how it is set up in game would be nice.

I understand your concern with the fishing log, and you're actually the second person to bring it up, so I very well may make that change in 4.1. I always appreciate the feedback. Speaking of which:
