This looks like a driver crash. Does this happen on only one character, or does it happen with every character?

Unfortunately, it's a bit difficult to determine exactly what is causing it, but we do have some suggestions on how to resolve it:

Disable all unnecessary programs and overlays (Geforce Experience, Discorde Overlay, etc.) running in the background.
Set compatibility mode to Windows 7 (right click on the ffxivboot.exe file and select ‘Properties.’ Then select the ‘Compatibility’ tab and choose Windows 7).
Make sure that any anti-virus software you have has the appropriate exceptions for Final Fantasy XIV.
You can also try a clean boot. Simply open the task manager and select the 'Start up' Tab. Disable everything here and restart the PC.

If it is only happening with one character, you can try deleting the files in the 'My Documents' folder (My Documents > My Games > Final Fantasy XIV).
