Returning Player Looking for a Posse

What up, longtime "Eorzian," Kar'ti Elmnyra here. I took a pretty big break from the game and looking to get back into the now! Raids, crafting/gathering, PVP, I want it all!

I feel that finding that dream community to fulfill all of that is not in the cards for me. So, I decided to split it up into categories. Please let me know if any of these interest you!

Raid:

This is something I have the most exp in. I've been raiding ever season since First Coil and have a pretty clear understanding as to how it works. I've mained a lot of different roles and I would evaluate my average performance across the years as "midcore plus." Most of my previous groups have been okay, but like many, had members less enthused about the game and eventually split (last group split after Kefka clear).

My current 70 roles are PLD, WHM, AST, DRG, NIN, RDM, and BRD.

Crafting / Gathering:

Through end of ARR and all of HW, I was a master crafter. Between doing that and designing houses for peeps for commission, I made a pretty solid 9-figure living for myself. Thennn.... I blew it all in SB lol. Got my mansion (somewhere in the last ward of the Goble) and bought a lot of raid gear and minions and stuff. Back to square one now, I suppose. I'd love any help getting back into that life!

PVP:
I really want to get into ranked! The gear is so cool and it would be a nice change for the game. I don't have much exp in FF aside from old Wolves Den and FL Roulette, but I do have a background in other games, like Smite, Overwatch, LoL, Destiny (Yeah yeah...toxic trash).

Clicking with a community is very important to me. Finding a group that I can be tight with has been my biggest challenge in this game. I have loads of friends, but they're all part of different groups and a lot of them are very casual (basically mia) these days....So I guess I should close with a bit about myself: I'm a guy working in TV / 28yo / Studying to write music (classical / jazz) / Big fan of cocktails (full bar at home lol) and beer.

That felt kinda like a weird dating profile sooo yeah, hope it helps and doesn't feel so awk.

(Oh, and I have two irl friends getting into the game. I really want to redo Coil SYNCED and actually follow the story this time on my alt, A'nu Elmyra. Anyone interested in reliving the past, hmu!)

Also... Just re-read some of what I wrote and I'm wondering what I was on when I typed this! Some of these sentences make zero sense. Like...It looks like a Google translation or something lol.

I'll have to fix that later.

But yeah, I'll get on. My two friends are stuck on ps4 chat, but I'll eventually get them Discording too.
