The reason u could pop rly fast on chaos back in the day bc of chaos DC was in NA. Which was great for DF bc it was pretty much always prime time 24/7 days.We have what, 50 different servers on our list including EU servers? It maybe 3-5am EST, but was almost noon over seas when I tried the first time. I'm guessing even the EU players are quitting. Back during ARR and Heavensward I could play all hours of the night and have no issues. It just shows that people have cleared the content or are getting bored with it. I'm used to a 30-40 minute wait, but 2 hours is completely unreasonable for a story mission.
As for leveling a tank. I'll repeat this again. If I have to play a class I don't want to play just to clear through the story, the game's too dead to bother paying for. If I still have problems this weekend I'll switch to JP and see how that goes. I can speak the language well enough to get by with the community there.
Well if transferring is no issue if you just want to clear the content then you might as well just move to the much more populated Aether NA datacentre instead. Sure you will still have moments when queues take some time, but moving to a JP centre (which is split amongst 3 centres instead of 2) isn't going to guarantee it'll be any easier.

your more than welcome to join my FC. We are on all times of the day and night. On a side note don't level up a tank if you don't want to. I will assist you. Send me a tell in game @ Hiram Abif.... I will help you clear those dungeons.

50 servers total perhaps, but you can only group with people playing on servers in the same data center as you - and there are only about a dozen servers in each data center.
Most of the EU players are in the Chaos data center - and thus cannot join anyone playing on one of the NA servers.
