Friend and I looking for FC to eventually raid with

A friend and I are looking for an FC to join to learn the finer points of the game and (hopefully) eventually raid with. He's played before but I am fairly new to the game, though not MMOs in general (I've played WoW, SWG, DDO, SWtoR, ESO, and now FFXIV). He's playing DPS but I've been tanking (PLD main) dungeons (and doing okay, I think), but I would like to learn the role better as well as learn how to heal (I have a WHM to lvl 33). So far I'm enjoying playing all three roles (I am levelling several DPS classes as well, so I can fit whatever role is needed). We eventually want to raid and would love to learn the roles and build rapport with an FC. We're both friendly and take constructive criticism well.

Hey there! Godhand is a relatively new FC on Zalera ran by my partner and myself. We're looking for players at all different experience levels in the game, and mainly recruiting as a small - mid sized FC looking to enjoy the game with fun people and help everyone gear up. We're honestly not sure when we're going to jump back into raids (wouldn't require it from the entire FC either, although we have 2 other people who are interested), but on our past server I had ran and managed our raid group for 4 years before quitting shortly after Alexander so I'd be willing to help you guys out with it!

I'm a career paladin typically, but during Alexander I switched to WHM. This time around I feel like I'm leaning more towards a DPS role and my partner plays BLM. If you're interested at all you can either reach one of us in game (Konig Wulf or Flapjack Shortstack) or just message me on the forum

Thank you for the reply! I'd like to know a little more about Godhand, if you don't mind. How big is the FC? How active is the group? We're quite a ways away from being raid-ready (I want to get through all of the MSQs and learn the tank and healer roles a lot better, first, not to mention get the necessary gear), so that's alright, but at some point, you are looking to institute raid groups?

Otherwise, the FC looks like the kind of thing we're looking for!

Yes, at some point we will be jumping back in! Our FC is pretty small, at the moment we have 7 people in it and three of us are on every day without fail in the evening EST/CST hours. We're aiming to keep it small or around mid-sized in general just so it's easy to get acquainted with everyone and help get everyone's things accomplished. At that moment I'm finishing up leveling a few jobs I'm considering for raiding around the 50+ level range, so you'd have plenty of time to finish up your MSQ, no rush!
