What are you expecting from the dev at the gamescom ?

Me,i really hope they will "enlight" us with how the game is going lately,for SB did not met the quality expectaion at all.

And what i does NOT hope : The Dev saying something like :
"You should calm down,the game is how it was supposed to be,we have new exciting quality content soon,please look forward to it"

Because all the promise of SB has been not kept at all.

Fluff and FUD. These events aren't used for anything more than hyping the game with as little substance as possible.

After Diadem and Eureka, I am worried for the future "never before seen features"" that will be added to this game. I mean what else will they remove, so they can create another zone with FATES?

I'm not going to expect much. As time has passed, Live Letters and similar events have spent more and more time advertising merchandise and discussing things like crossover events and fluff/quality of life features. Neither Diadem or Anemos/Pagos received nearly as much time in the spotlight as things like the companion app and MHW crossover event did. Even when they preview new glamour, they often just show off the female version of any non-combat set and not the male version.

I don't expect or want any story elements to be spoiled in advance, though it'd be neat if speculation was encouraged more through previews of environments/enemies and NPC's who have not yet been added to the game. Some snippets of future music tracks would be neat too.

I do want to be cautiously optimistic, mind you. There will likely be a few nuggets of information that we do not know about yet...though there's a track record of fairly minor things being hyped up significantly.

Now that I think on it, aren't we still waiting for a FFXV crossover? I hope we hear something about that...

How to get your hands on over-priced merchandise
A new or returning campaign to get people back for 4.4.
The new trailer for the latest patch or a live letter.
A ton of promotion for non users to get information out there about the game that most casual players already know.

i.e. not much new, maybe some 4.4. stuff. Business as usual. It's all quiet til Fanfest.
