That would break the game. Also Demi has always been referred to as a gravity attack, which we have in the Gravity spell.

Anyway I read once that AST itself is time mage already and it's abilities were based on that. It can extend buff duration for example.

Extending a buff duration is not actually controlling time but potency of its duration(& that can be many factors), time is ticking thats normal in life, skipping time backward is a whole new and different story tho.


P.s: I am talking about the actual spell effect & it could even be swapped to a job ability instead of a cast but the point is gravity is not halving the target hp & no doing this would not break the game, actually it would be great for all players in a party.Weight does not have to affect demi, it could just drain the target away of half its lifetime.There is several text descriptions demi could have.
