Where's the innovation?
Where's the innovation or the risks that players claim SE is not willing to take? I say if a new job get released, Time Mage would be of a good utility & also very unexpected.
Sure some players ask for Blue Mage & some for Geomancer which could follow lore but.Time Mage would readjust XIV gameplay by quite a bit in my opinion as they could get the magic demi & some sort of ability to undo the last couple bad steps into a fight which could change the output in the end if players manage to react accordingly.
Rewind could be added in multiple ways, make it a tremendously long cooldown ability or a spell that consume all mp with a long cooldown or|OR even if thats too far upon fetching the idea, then turn that into a Limitbreak.
With the current game situation,rarely fights are going to be able to go throught salvation if either the enemy is not low enough on health for remaining players to finish the battle or if both healers are dead then everyone suffer from it by not having cures & raises unless situationally they got another mage able to handle it.
I think adding rewind as a limitbreak could give everyone a chance to get back on track & that would for sure open possibilitys throught the outcome of a battle & its mechanics.If adding Time Mage for this is not an option, please at least consider maybe giving a little Ooommmff spike to a limitbreak.
I do think it would be cool for astrologian to have this if not a Time Mage.I would gladly take a rewind LB over raisega as it would kinda feel like a Final Attack Pheonix Summon in the FF7 game.
P.s: For how far back in time it would launch everybody, I let that timer for you all to discuss, too short of a time? Too long of a time? What would be the good # for it?
Also while some players mentionned on making GCD faster Time Mage could maybe possibly turn out a battle to happen slower for a short period of time like some sort of max payne slowmotion mode.
