it feels like they upped the Mutation rate of mobs too
got like 15 mutated mobs in a chain

Does SE even playtest their content? Surely one dev must have questioned how somebody is expected to derive enjoyment from smashing their fingers for hours on end for already outdated equipment.
The train was the only thing Eureka had going for it and that was because of the players rather than the content itself.
I will once I can find a group... and the time to do long hours in Pagos when I have all this college work to do. You see, unlike other relics you have to rely on people being there. I sat for a really long time in an instance before this patch asking for a group of my level. And from all the people complaining of instances dying, I bet it would have been even harder closer to then. Yes I’m speaking of the past, but how can I not when I’m typing this and getting ready to go to my classes and won’t have time to get on to see if this even remotely helps my problem with the content. It's disgustingly sad that this is what you want from a game ..afk..return..afk...sickening.sad and pathetic..both on players that begged and also SE FOR ONCE AGAIN just handing everything on a silver platter if the tears roll..you all could have been 35 and have a weapon it's called put effort in and earn it
And from the sound of it, it didn’t help THAT much. So I’m going to be working on classwork when I get home, go figure.
I notice how most of the people against this immediately think "now I have to AFK" or "everybody is going to afk". Funny, my first thought was "yay, I can engage with other players and my friends again." I've never afk'd and I don't even remember it's an option until the mouth-foamers yell about it.
Maybe if y'all's first instinct wasn't to afk we would have these problems...
Again, I believe it is fine to make different kinds of content. However, using archaic forms of content from a game that came out in 2002 might not be your best choice. Make something new and interesting feeling. Something we didn't know we wanted. FFXI's methods of grinding was pretty split with MMO players even in it's prime. I don't mind grind and challenge. I don't mind spending weeks trying to get one thing. All I am saying is, the grind doesn't feel too bad if the content is actually fun. At least with trains I can afk and do something else that is fun. Not ideal, but it is what it is.
Next problem gonna be there is gonna be horrible balance between pagos crystals and light farm. Pagos crystals should be able converted to light if that is the case.
This was me. I was like yay killing mobs joking around you know socializing. Untill I went into an instance and was called a sniveling leech for even mentioning the train O.oI notice how most of the people against this immediately think "now I have to AFK" or "everybody is going to afk". Sadly so far it seems that now Pagos is even more divided than it was, and as someone pointed out because of it less is getting done.
It is interesting to see the chainers looking down on the trainers it's like this whole casual sub culture thing.
Good to know that it's so bad, I'll wait a bit for the salt to die down. Maybe spend some time with my savage prog group or farm for some more byakko or tsukuyomi wolves. You know, all of those casuals activities I only do because I can't commit and I'm just a leech who prefers to have fun like it's a game or something. I really should learn to take my second job (that I pay $15 a month for) more seriously...
cant please everyone
A better more robust quest/story line would be an improvement as well though I doubt this would have a chance of making the next land.Yeah, they realized their "fix" didn't work; in fact it backfired. So now they are probably looking at the next Eureka and asking themselves what they can do that's actually different.
As a number of us seem to agree with, one possibility is the implementation of daily quests inside the instance, so people have options.
