Pagos was really boring and unrewarding at release. I mean, Anemos had the same problems, but people found ways around it with the help of the train. There are definitely people who afk while waiting for pops, and I'm not thrilled at that, but there are also plenty of people like me who attack everything we can to try to get things to attack faster, even if we're not contributing a ton until we're max level.

I don't like being accused of laziness in a game. I'll put forth as much effort as I can when the reward feels reasonable for the amount of effort. Pagos failed at that with its original implementation, and that's why people complained. The ends didn't justify the means.

And Pagos still has tons of problems after the patch, but again, the train is a symptom of Eureka's problems, not the cause of it. If the content were more engaging, the trains would not exist. This is how we have made the best of a dumb situation.
