    Suggestion: Next Major Patch - 3 Types of New Tomestones

    All 3 are capped at 450/week like usual except:

    Tomestone A can only be used to purchase Tanking gear.

    Tomestone B can only be used to purchase DPS gear.

    Tomestone C can only be used to purchase Healer gear.

    That way players have more of a variety of classes to play instead of just gearing up 1 type of job xD.

    Dungeons now drop all 3 tomestones with equal amount in place of Mendacity tomestones.

    There are numerous problems with this idea. For one, each role is not made equal in terms of representation. You have three tanks and healers who all share gear but nine DPS. That makes gearing for the former significantly easier.

    Secondly, this speeds up gear progression to the point of odd numbered patches serve no purpose. You'll have at least 5+ jobs at i390 or higher before 4.5 even drops. The whole reason they do a weekly cap like this is to stretch the cycle.

    And we haven't even touched how fast this would be for raiders.

    Eh, no. Aside from making it more annoying, it's just going result in players capping everything they're not actually using and solve nothing.

    They should just delete tomes, raid parts, primal parts. The existing system results in 7 inventory items per raid tier, so you could end up with a lot of stuff that just sits there and is unusable, untradeable, and unsellable on the field or in a dungeon. Either turn them into a unified currency per patch level (ARR, HW and SB) and leave the latest tier as it's own currency, or turn them all into a currency and remove them from the inventory, this would unfortunately result in more loading time.

    Alternative, use the collection book method (see WT) which you play the raid/dungeon/primal X many times, and when you've played the requisite number of dungeons/primals/raids, you pick a chest, and that chest contains the complete set of gear for that job. Eg 32 times for each raid tier (4x8).
