True, but why would they care? There is still people playing, ok they whine, but it seems like "don't read, don't know, don't care". How many times as it been after all?
In the end they still have the subs.
I just don't take at heart what are being advertised anymore.
90 pages... 90 pages of people complaining about a item.. in a video game.

There does have to be a breaking point though. The last time I've seen the game fair as badly as it is right now was in 3.1, and with the state of the game right now it seems to be getting even worse. I don't think sub numbers will be the breaking point for the game, rather content participation. If people aren't participating in the content being put out then the Devs have to step in and do something, and they need to rebuild the trust that has been broken in order to fix that issue.True, but why would they care? It is shocking how people complain about a videogame, on that videogames forum

This topic is now longer than the topic about Pagos.
And yes, an item in a video game. People pay lots of money for items in videogames. Of course not for this specific one, but it tells us that virtual items are maybe more important for a lot of people than you think.
You are a high end crafter, yes? Who invests lots of time to get tons of gil back? What would you say when they just give everyone the same amount of gil you have, wich makes the gil completely worthless due to inflation and all your work spent is redundant now? Would you just shrug it off like nothing? So many weeks of hard work are gone. That was time of your real life as well. But at least you have the memorys of the fun materia melding, fun adjusting prices at the retainers, fun waiting for the mats to spawn, fun crafting this item you need for the final craft a few hundred times... well, you maybe really did had fun, who knows? You would not play this when it was not fun to you.
But would you shrug it off like nothing?
I don't think that even comparable to a item from 6 years ago but I probably wouldn't care too much. Maybe little salty. You are a high end crafter, yes? Really awful comparisons like this just make the people who got all worked up over this look even sillier. This topic is now longer than the topic about Pagos.

This is by far the worst comparison presented on this thread. SE doesn't need to handout gil when people already do that anyway. This topic is now longer than the topic about Pagos.

I just wanted to find some virtual good Luna-M cares about. This comparsion was not supposed to compare the White Ravens with tons of Gil directly, it was supposed that Luna-M has to think about the value of virtual items in general, in response to this:
And if you want my opinion about the comparsion: I think the value of tons of gil is higher than that of the 1.0 White Ravens, so I agree, the comparsion is off.
However, I couldn't care less about the White Ravens, I am not even an 1.0 player. I was always talking about virtual items in general. People invest a lot of time and effort to get their hands on them. They should not be handed out later like it was nothing.
