So, they didn't even account for Au Ra horns on the earrings? Good lord, SE.

It’s nothing to do with “not accounting for horns”, it’s just the hairstyle. I can’t ever see earrings on my Hyur either, except at a narrow angle from behind-and-off-to-the-side where her hair isn’t blocking the view.

Au Ra wear all earrings on their horns exactly where human ears would be, except... I don’t know, they drilled holes to put them in or something? I don’t use earrings on my Au Ra alt. It seems weird. (Though I did use the race-specific ‘metal plate’ horn decorations from the character creator.)

That is my gripe with the face you're using. I like it, but I prefer the skinny horns since I can see my earrings easier... hence why I swapped (again).

I was original miqo when I started the game and the only thing I really miss is jewelry. Even a lot of necklaces don't stand out against the scales. But, I like the scales a lot too, so just got over the earring situation.

If you are an Au Ra you basically have to tie strings to earrings and tie them to your horns.

So far in the span of ~10 pages, especially with the comment made against someone who wanted to play 1.0 and couldn't about "participation prize, doesn't count": that is absolutely lording it over someone that NYAH NYAH I HAVE IT AND YOU DON'T, AND YOU DON'T DESERVE IT LIKE I DO. The comment was incredibly rude and uncalled for.

Second, lemme just point out that people are being the biggest jerks to each other

Why the <kupo> does it matter if someone who played 1.0 who wasn't able to get the earrings, even if they played all the way through from 1.0-1.23b or someone who started in 2.0 who wasn't able to play at the time but maybe wanted to, get this item? Go outside, touch some grass, and calm down. Dang.

It's already been said before, if you don't care that the devs have been breaking even more of their promises that's your choice.

Unless something is put in to writing and the ToS is updated every single time to reflect that guarantee, then a promise is not binding. A government can promise to do a certain policy but they can quite easily change their mind, things happen. It's fine to feel strongly about certain things, but getting too emotionally involved over something that isn't actually real (i.e. earrings) can often set yourself up for disappointment.
