    If this is only happening with one character, you may want to try deleting the files in the 'My Documents' folder (My Documents > My Games > Final Fantasy XIV). This is where your locally saved data is. If you have a corrupt file here, deleting this folder may help with your issue.

    If this does not resolve the issue, try running the game in DirectX 9 mode and closing any unnecessary programs in the background.
