Missing Quest "Treasures and Tribulations"

Quest: Treasures and Tribulations
Required Level: 36
Location: Wineport, Eastern La Noscea (X:21, Y:21)
NPC: H'loonh

I'm trying to obtain the Action "Dig" for treasure hunts. I've read that by talking to the NPC H'loonh she will give you the quest "Treasures and Tribulations" but she does not have the quest for me. I'm well above the required level, none of my friends have any idea either.

I've checked my commands to see if I might have done it but it's not in my emotes. I'm hoping someone will have an idea why this quest will not trigger for me.

So a quick peak doesnt show any pre-req to do that quest. If youre far enough along to have unlocked AST youve certainly done enough for this. When questions like this come up on the boards, the most common answers are that someone has already done the quest or that they accepted it and never finished it. If you accepted it and never finished it then it would still be in your quest journal. Remember that although you can only have 5 quests on the active tracker, you can have many more in the journal. Those quests objectives dont show up on your map, but they are still very much doable. With that out of the way, you said...

The Dig command isnt an emote, its an actual command. If you bring up your characters actions and traits interface(P hotkey on keyboard), Dig is on the "General" tab... toward the bottom typically. You get Dig and Decipher at the same time, so if you can open a map you can get the treasure it holds(providing you can beat the monsters of course). If youve already done the quest it will be in the "completed" portion of your quest journal as an "Eastern La Noscan Sidequest".

So if you dont have it hidden in your journal, and you dont have it already finished you might need to submit a bug ticket in game. There shouldnt be anything stopping you from getting the quest.
