If the Train is really not going to ever happen please bring some guaranteed rewards thru leves or daily quests to break up the monotony with. The Challenge log helps with leveling but that’s about it. Please do something.

The train is dead; long live the chain.
But in a serious manner. If you get dailies, what guarantee is there you won't be like many who are just doing challenge log and avoid it until reset? A "faster but less painful" progress? Chain isn't bad, its bad when its so limited in level range and that you have to dedicate a few hrs of the day for it.
At least its still there as an option. Don't have time to commit to kill 120 enemies in a row? Do the quests! The train is dead; long live the chain.

Challenge log is there as an option too, and you can do it within a week, one log a day? Do the log!
There's plenty of things that "you can want with content". Some content is just not for everyone :/
If you say so.
If you cut a dungeon per patch to make it and you put a non-skill based weapon in it (no Savage or EX-Trials), that piece of content should be for those people. Which is what a daily log would be.
I would love if Pagos (and even backtrack to Anemos) got daily quests/leves/something else to do.
Eureka seems to be largely based on FF11, and FF11 had a lot of grinding, yes. Leveling was slow in FF11, yes. But FF11 was a slow game and it's methodology doesn't work with a fast-paced game like FF14. Plus FF11 had tons of quests. Even if its things not marked on the map and follows the 'communicate with others and/or go look yourself' line as the 'main quest' at least there's something. Besides chasing NMs and finding grinding spots I want more direction into why I should go exploring an obviously dangerous map. As it is, it honestly is not worth looking around this lovely zones because it takes so long to level and the punishment of death outweighs the satisfaction of seeing and finding the little niches around the zone.
They hated the trains in Anemos, well, there was nothing else to do. Now they nerfed the NM trains and made us party to do chains, but they don't seem to realize doing so makes a massive level gap. Being in the mid to upper 20's is rough to get a party going and stay going for as long as needed to chain and get enough exp to level. Especially when people seem dead set on particular 'spots' and the high levels come rolling in to spawn an NM and nullify your chaining efforts.
