Can we get a weekly journal but for the open world?

So yeah, a lot... of the open world is pretty damn barren, why not give us a something similar to Wondrous Tails but for the open world, fates, beast tribe, gold saucer, leves, gathering, fishing, bascially the challenge log but with some worth while prizes. Was thinking something more along the lines of beast tribe where you get a currency rather than the whole rng sticker thing, and just trade them in for awesome prizes.
Example:
Complete 20 fates in Southern Thanalan, or Churning Mist, or Fringes, etc.
Complete "Steel Reign" or "Long Live The Coeurl", yata yata.
Complete 10 Gates, Races, TT in Gold Saucer.
Complete 20 beast tribe quests.
Something like that, and just give a token or 2 for each thing completed, and yeah just add some nice prizes can buy with them but fairly expensive so it would take several major patches worth to actually get everything, a mount, a minion, maybe an outfit or 2 from other FF games.

Yeah but for the most part challenge log stuff is not worth doing unless youre leveling or really desperate for some gil, lol

Also the challenge log isnt very specific in the fate tab. What im thinking would add more people out there in the open world rather than standing at a city or their house waiting for their queue to pop. :X

I think the challenge log has a whole needs a bit of revamp.
Definitely having more specific challenges would be cool, so like you said FATEs in an area or region could encourage a little more activity in said places. Perhaps adding hunting stuff to the log would help as well, so defeat 5 B ranks, 2 A and 1 S a week in any area maybe.

Few other Ideas I messed about with....
Trade in 10 or 20 Triple Triad cards to get some bonus MGP, complete the Fashion Report with at least 60 or 80 points etc. Offer more of a bonus for commendations (although that needs a total overhull anyway personally), such as commend 5 players of each role tank, heal or DPS every week to get a bonus. Give a challenge log reward for doing the MSQ roulette as a little something extra.
