I have to agree with you there (sorry Niqe!) - by all accounts Meracydia is Hydaelyn's Terra Australis Incognita. Having said that, Ala Mhigo definitely does fit some aspects of Australia though too (harsh environment, it's people with a reputation for being tough-as-nails and giving rise to more than a few talented soldiers, even it's national anthem does have more than a passing resemblance in musical structure to Australia's, as noted by more than a few people on the lore forum.

Little wonder then as an Aussie I had Enki be Ala Mhigan by birth, as it just suited her perfectly.
