[Companion App] Feedback Thread

So, when designing a companion app for an MMORPG, design question #1 should be: "What are the most common transactions our customers perform when signing on for 10 minutes or less?"

From this point of view, I am afraid that the companion app is a complete fail for me, and after paying for a month of premium service just to see what it was like, I'll be cutting the subscription and uninstalling the app.

Why?
(1) Retainers. That is the #1 reason I sign in for short periods. In spite of comments up the thread, I am subscribed to the premium service and I CANNOT MANAGE MY RETAINERS IN THE APP. This, in my mind, is the unforgivable sin that will make me keep my money.
(2) As someone mentioned above, my company squadron. I'd totally forgotten about them, but yes, they're another "quick transaction" I do all the time.
(3) Grand Company turn-ins. Every day I sign on for 5 minutes just to turn in my gatherer items.

Other than that, I perform no short-term transactions, and everyone in my free company is available via text/IM, so there's no need for a separate app for that.

So, for those of you wondering whether to pay for the premium app to get access to your retainers, DON'T. You don't get access to your retainers even if you pay. And as I said, that's why I'll be uninstalling the app at the end of the month.
