Sooo...the description of the App says it's Android 5.0+
Why can't I even find the App in the Play Store with Android 7.0 but have to go there from the Lodestone entry. And why the heck is an Android 7.0 device not compatible with the app so I can't even download it?

It is region-locked for some freaking reason like the Libra app. Download it on apkpure or some other legit website that bypass the region locking shenanigans.

I confirm that my Moto Z2 Force used to give the "This device is not compatible" and had to download the .apk to make it work. That said, I'm not aware of what creates this device block but if it helps, Moto Z2 Force is compatible with the app as it doesn't crash or behave strangely.
That said! The news need to be rigged so they won't alert you Everytime the "Character Creation Restrictions" get updated. I bet people wanna hear about real news instead of a continually updating thread.

I'm honestly surprised this wasn't already a feature in at launch. It seems like a no-brainer.

Only accessible through premium+, also requires 2 kupo nuts per venture. Please look forward to it.

I'm on a Samsung Galaxy S7Edge with Anroid 7.0 and the app works with 5.5+.

Yeah...looks like I gotta get the .apk from somewhere else if SE isn't able to manage their Google Play.

I agree with almost all my fellow comrades on this thread. The Companion App still lacks in-game features that we would like implemented to make it flow with the game instead act like it’s own separate entity.
-The Kupo Nut currency should change for free uses from a max of 2 to 10. Recharge for Kupo Nuts should be from 1 to 2 every 12 hours (instead of 1 day) just like our in-game Leves. For premium max Kupo Nut should be from 10 to 20 and recharge should be from 2 to 5 every 12 hours.
-Selling items or changing prices should all be done in one batch per retainer and cost only 1 Kupo Nut instead of either selling/changing prices per item and costing 1 Kupo Nut.
-Chat: it would be great to send emoji or meme to one another and our friends to receive this message in game and reply vis versa.
-Mobile Gold Saucer games: basically playing with our friends with each other like the triple triad card game.
-Retainer Ventures: send a retainer to venture for only 1 Kupo Nut per retainer.
-Squadrons: Having the ability to either train or send your squadron for a mission, of course 1 Kupo Nut per activity.
-Gardening: Either the FC leader or private estate individual is tied to there garden and 1 Kupo Nut per garden patch. To intice everyone to buy Your companion app maybe offer +1 garden patch.
-Choco Stable: train/feed choco 1 Kupo Nut per choco.
That’s all my suggestions I read on this thread and even with all these implements there still wouldn’t be enough Kupo Nuts to fill all these activities so people might just buy your moogle coins to complete there daily task, I hope to see lots of improvements on the companion app.

Can we add a timer for Kupo Nuts? I don’t really like that if I have the maximum capacity of Kupo Nuts and when I log into the app it adds another Kupo Nut, it doesn’t stack or replenish since I already have the maximum capacity. With the timer at the very least I can just randomly use the Kupo Nut instead of me laminating on my wasteful loss of a Nut.

Definitely needed more useful feature. I've subscribed to premium just for the sake of a retainer. For now I only liked:

- Rearranging of inventory
- Marketboard feature

But other than those, I haven't found any other things that interests/useful me.

Perhaps other premium users could tell me how do you guys full utilize the app?

I know it's been said but saying it again only solidifies how much it's wanted:

Controlling retainers for ventures.

More push notifications with actual pop up alerts for things like when items are sold, chat, events, retainers finishing ventures, ect.

Alerts for events like cactpot, fates, or other in-game events.

Forums in apps.
