I'm not on Ultros, but I pimped my shiro castle mansion and outdoor furnishings in colibri pink.

Instead of decorating in pink or bringing more attention to the most focused on cancer just support all cancer awareness as a whole without the pink attached to it.

Not trying to be disrespectful on this but I've had more than a few family members die or nearly die from other forms of cancer.

Well, to be brutally honest, you failed in that regard. BRCA awareness does not detract from awareness of the other types of cancer. It does not somehow cheapen the tragedy of those lost to any of the numerous other forms out there. I'm not sure why you seem to take offence to a goodhearted gesture like the OP's.

Maybe instead of being negative about someone trying to do something good for a cause that you apparently believe gets enough attention already (is such a thing even possible?) you could try to advocate for those impacted by any or all of the other forms of cancer? You care enough to complain about BRCA awareness, why not channel that energy into a positive force instead? Nothing is stopping you from starting a campaign in support of the people affected by the types of cancers that have touched your life.

To the topic at hand: I went pink as well and have been handing out dye (great idea, OP) when I have the chance.

So you think wearing pink or painting your house, furniture etc is supporting those in need? I'm sure those people are so happy that you were a pink ribbon or painted something pink in game to support the most supported and researched cancer...

This generation gets dumber by the day.

Is there a particular reason you feel the need to attack me personally (by making quite a few assumptions about me in the process) rather than answer the simple questions I asked or addressing the point I made?

I won't be shamed into stopping to support the issue (through more than just dying things in a game pink, btw) or trying to spread awareness on any platform I see fit just because some random, angry person on the internet thinks it already gets enough attention.

Seriously, why do you find people trying to do some good so offensive?

Well, dear. It's no support, sure. But the thing is "awareness".
The flag itself is to get attention and people to do the checks more often to diagnose it early.

Do I suggest they take a one month break and donate the sub money to a cancer related charity, or do I joke that I was inspired to personally check several women's breasts for lumps after virtually adventuring with pink clad heroes...

Men are included in this awareness movement! Remember, men are also susceptible to breast cancer, but they delay going to the doctor for longer, which means breast cancer in men is more likely to be left until it is too far gone to treat.

So guys, if you find any lumps in that area of your body, be smart and go to the doctor to get it looked at. You get all the same tests/treatments as women, but breast cancer in men responds far more readily to hormone therapy.

And stop trolling, dumb dumbs. Sheesh.
