From my understanding, they realised that is the main issue, they simply investigated the emails also. But they are pending bug reports from those effected by demolitions of error so they can investigate the demolition timers not working properly.

But the main point of this thread was not the mails but that people might have lost it even though they should not even be part of the demolition thus they should not have gotten emails anyway. Hopefully you might still look at this and if its not a joke by people then maybe find a solution.Greetings everyone,
From our investigations, we have not found cases where housing demolition warning emails were not sent to users who were approaching an estate demolition deadline. To ensure that important notifications such as these are received, we ask you to confirm that your email address is up to date in your Square Enix account settings.
Also can someone say when they got their first warning message? Because I did not get one after reaching 10 days left and I really get all the other mails from SE so it would be strange to not have that.
Letter from the Producer LIVE Part IX Q&A Summary (10/30/2013)
Q: Will there be any maintenance fees or other costs for housing, besides the cost of the land and house?
A: In older MMOs, such as Ultima Online, there was a house maintenance fee you had to pay weekly, but in FFXIV: ARR we decided against this system. Similarly, these older MMOs also had a system where your house would break down if you didn’t log in after a while in order to have you continue your subscription, but this is a thing of the past and we won't have any system like that.
Yes, as I mentioned, we are asking users who feel that there was an error outside of the normal housing demolition procedure to fill out a bug report so we can investigate the claims case by case. But the main point of this thread was not the mails but that people might have lost it even though they should not even be part of the demolition thus they should not have gotten emails anyway. Hopefully you might still look at this and if its not a joke by people then maybe find a solution.

One of the issues that you can consider passing along to the dev team, even if this bug turns out to be a not-bug, is that the Housing Demolition Timer does not indicate which estate is due for demolition. Everyone is working under the assumption that the timer shows their personal house, when in at least one case it has been the house of someone to which they are a resident with access, but not the owner.
Perhaps simply displaying the location of the estate that is due for demolition next to the timer will clear up this confusion? For example, if I saw a Shirogane location with the timer, I would automatically know it's not my FC house or personal house. (And also know which friend I need to poke with a stick to get online ASAP.)
Having it show the same information as the teleport log would be great. One of the issues that you can consider passing along to the dev team, even if this bug turns out to be a not-bug, is that the Housing Demolition Timer does not indicate which estate is due for demolition. Here is a house that you yourself own being demolished:
Here is a house you're a tenant of being demolished:
A lot of the confusion is coming from people not understanding that it can show a house you're a tenant of, not just your own house, and further, not reading that it says "shared estate" right there.
Thank you for taking the time to talk to us Bayohne. =) I would also like to suggest the timer always be visible, not only when the estate is close to demolition so that it is easier to keep track of.
And, while it may be a subject of debate, I would like to at least put my own personal feedback that I think the timer is too short at 45 days and for it to be lengthened to 90 days ideally, or at least 60, because it would help those of us who want to take breaks to play other games once we've finished what a current major patch has to offer. I thank you all a lot for listening to our feedback regardless of whether or not the suggestions be implemented.
For people who are tenants of more than one estate, however, it's still confusing. Just giving the address as the teleport log has it shouldn't be too hard, and would be clearer. Clarity is always better when you're dealing with something that will be used by thousands of people.
Just found out that i also lost my house i had a medium plot in the goblet on Phoenix hope it will be recovered.
