PSA/ALERT: Houses are getting demolished when they shouldn't. SE needs to see this!

But those are shared estates that are being prepared for demolish, not your personal one that you entered.

It calls them shared estates on the estate tab, but you can see it says "Estate Hall (Private)" when I warp there, and the timer is removed from the list when I enter, which is only possible if I'm the owner. Maybe it's part of the bug?

...or the owner of the shared estate entered the house they own. I see you have two estates that you're a tenant of. And there were two "shared estates" that were listed as being prepared for demolish.

You can literally see the timer end and go away in the video he posted when he enters the house. He's the owner. Nobody else is there.

Is it a case of people being in their houses, or just going to the house? I've seen threads on reddit where people complained they lost their houses, but really all they were doing was teleporting to the estate, not going inside.

If there's actually an issue of people legitimately losing housing they were in and there was no demo timer on, it needs to be fixed. If its people not understanding how demo works, and having old email addresses tied to their accounts, thats not SE's fault.

I think it is SE's fault for keeping the timer in game somewhat hidden, I seen people posting here and there that was confused about where to find it. I really do not get SE's obsession in general to play find waldo with its menus. Some people saying they did not see the timer in the timer tab may be due to this.

Whelp. I know what I’m doing the moment I get off of work today. Check that timer to ensure my FC manor isn’t close to being silently demolished.

Me and my FC friends sunk a lot of time, materials, and gil into that place for the yard, indoors, and private rooms. I’m not losing our FC Mist manor to a bug if I can help it. If we lose it now to this bug, our will to play this game may take a huge hit.

When I had received an email about demolition it went to my spam folder for some reason. I only noticed it because I was clearing the folder out.

Possibly for some but some people are losing houses same day/ day after they have been inside their estate

He has four houses listed. Two of them he's a tenant of. One personal. One an FC house.

Two "shared estates" are listed as being demolished. We don't see what's happening at the other houses. Did they also check their house?

Both say that they're "shared estates" and to be honest, I don't know why, but he's obviously the owner of one of those houses because the timer stopped upon his entry. It's possible that if the house is shared with anybody it shows shared estate in the demolition timers. I have never had my timer pop up, so I don't know.

I see now where you're seeing four houses but one is an FC estate and the private house is listed as being in Shirogane, which is the one he went to and posted a picture of the placard of. We don't know why it says shared estate, but again. the timer ended when he entered the house. As it should have.
