French/German server

Am I the only one who thought "man, I really wanna go to that one so I'll be able to speak with people from all over the world and not just NA+JP?"

A bit afraid its mostly going to be french and germans though. Anyone knows how these things usually go?

I would have prefered it to be an actual EU timezone server and not a lanuage specific server.

Language specific servers tend to generally have their language specific players, but you usually have that group of English players go to them and complain that people aren't speaking English lol, seen it happen so much in MMOs lately >.>

French and german are being suggested to play in that server; it doesn't mean they will be the majority. Just a good number. Same how besaid was the RP server and not everyone was a role player. Derp

Too bad there's no worthy highly camped open world content, the French/German server would have been a good place for NA endgame LS to go !

On topic:
I never liked to play MMORPG's with people speaking the same language as me, so I'd avoid this server.

Playing a MMORPG is not really an efficient hobby in my opinion, so learning/practicing/improving another language while playing is a big plus to me.

Yeah totally, my first language is spanish; I'm really used to speaking with english players, japanese too from XI, but have never mingled with many french and german. It sounds pretty cool as long as they have their own share of JP and EN

In both German and French versions of the announcement it says reccomended to europeans, so is more than likely a translation mistake on the english part...

If this is the case they need to fix it, I would join the EU server if i thought it was recommended for people in that time zone. UK, Spain etc.
