New Event......really?

I'm not a fan of anything jump related in this game due to the archaic jump system but this one didn't bother me as the jumps needed for the achievement are well within the game's capabilities. I am disappointed at the shortness of the activity as I recall past events having more to do. I guess I shouldn't be surprised as less quest/story related content has been the trend with each content pkg SE has put out since SB.

Personally, I thought the brevity of the event was great. Seasonal events are usually just worthless filler content I do for the rewards, so anything that doesn't feel the need to waste my time before it lets me have the seasonal items is great as far as I'm concerned.

Jump puzzles? this is the best they could think of? Now Im certain theyre completely out of ideas

It brought actual gameplay and that's my main complaint with FFXIV. It's better than other events where it's just a cutscene with emotes and a few small paragraphs to read.
