With all due respect, most found it with little to no problem. :] If someone truly wants to RP, then I don't think it will escape them to type "FFXIV RP" into Google. The #1 result is the RPC website (www.ffxiv-roleplayers.com). It should be pretty easy, unless you seriously doubt the googling/mental capacities of roleplayers.

No. Players should not be required to do any research whatsoever prior to starting up the game and creating their character. That's not user-friendly.

I don't doubt people's ability to use google, but the fact is doing so shouldn't be necessary. A game should be intuitive enough that you can just jump right in and start playing immediately, without having to do any work to prepare beforehand.

i agree im having the same encounter in my link shell, i would ask if they want to go party somewhere, and they leveld themselves to 50 max and now they are bored and want to quit game, and when i ask if anyone wants to level range they say im too high for you, your not the same level, gawd the level gap everyone is too high or too low, yet they played fair and everyone gets upset when they have to solo their quests.

when i want a party my linkshell says go "shout" for a party, gawd whats the point in haveing an linkshell if no one is going to play fair and just be jerks so that u would leave and look for hard core players, i came hard core because im in such chaos eviroment of everyone ambitous to level and quest for items, its definitly the level gap that my linkshell complains but everything else is fine

We'll cross that bridge when we get to it. I for one would love to transfer over to an RP server given the chance. I play this game to RP, and most of my friends are RPers. I suppose it would be a lot harder for the light RPers or people with a lot of non-RP friends they are super close with who wouldn't want to go along with them. /shrug Everyone has to make their own choices. If you're a lot closer to the OOC community then yeah I guess it doesn't make much sense to move lol.
