My quests suddenly abandoned out of the blue.

I had sat down to eat lunch and didn't have the game up, when coming back and bringing my attention to the chat box, 4 of my pending quests had suddenly straight up abandoned. Feast of Famine being the biggest stinger given the difficulty of that quest, the others being one of the anima quests, eorzean nimble warriors and kettle to the mettle.

Is anyone else getting this?

Edit: Starting to think the game took controller input while I didn't have it active, no signs of a breakin on my comp, strangely I have the client set to NOT do that while the window is inactive.

Could this be another effect from whatever’s causing the other glitch people were talking about, with houses being unexpectedly demolished?

Also on abandoned quests, I think you may still be able to progress them if you just go to the next stage of it? At least, I think I deleted the Ifrit EX quest but was still able to progress it after I eventually beat it unsynched.

I haven't had any such difficulties. I've had three quests in my log for probably a year or more at this point (Beast of Brewer's Beacon, Soul without Life, Born Again Anima) and they're still there now.

I'm thinking it MIGHT be related to the glitch, but I'm also skeptical it could just be the controller input in a freak incident.

Either way I'm watching now, definately not input from a RAT because I'm sat in front of the machine while it was going on, FFXIV would have had to come to the front.

I dunno man. I had 4 items I crafted never make it into my bags. I can't think of any conceivable reason for the 3 I made today to disappear, the first there's a slim chance I may have vendored it. They were dyes - sat down to make them, stood up and ran to the glamour dresser and they weren't there. This game is acting weird.
