Expand the Aquarium Fish List

I have a confession, while I am asking to expand the aquarium fish list it's only because I want to see a specific fish added. One that's actually not a fish but a type of salamander. That's right I'm talking about this little guy:




TINY AXOLOTL!

Pronounced Ax-oh-lot-ul. How freaking cute would this be? Why can't Eorzeans keep them safe at home as well? (PS: There is an axolotl minion!)



If this hasn't sold you yet, let me give you some facts about axolotls:

1. Axolotl roughly translate's to water dog. The name has a basis in Aztec culture, being named after the God Xoltol.



2. Axolotls are amphibians however they don't go on land because unlike other amphibians axolotls don't have a "tadpole"-like phase, they stay the same their entire life. This retains their fins/tail/gills/etc..



3. Those things sticking from its head? Those are gills! Axolotls are not only amazing but experts in fashion. Axolotls also come in many colors white, pink, brown, black, and more!



4. Axolotls can regrow organs and limbs if anything happens to hurt it. Their regen powers are so strong it can repair its brain as well. Many studies have been and are currently being conducted to see if this unique ability can help humans as well!



5. Axolotls are critically engaged in the wild. However, because axolotls are taken as pets, this helped sustain the population so that axolotls can exist today.

they have to create the model for fish first and animate it too. i mean when you catch fish you just get a sparkle and that's it lol. there would be way less fish in this game if they had to create every type.

I'd love more non-fish aquarium residents. Lots of cool critters to choose from. ^_^

I have a pet axolotl irl, they're neat! I remember being super excited when I first saw the Tiny Axolotl in game, then immediately disappointed to learn it couldn't move in.
