The remaining half of Hong Bao of Tonberry is currently looking to recruit for the upcoming 4.4 tier, Alphascape. Circumstances have pulled a large part of roster away from us and we’re aiming to regroup, bolster our ranks and take another earnest shot at world prog with some new blood.

We’re a mostly Australian group based in the +10 GMT timezone. However, our times will generally be able to mesh with most +8 GMT players. Applicants not from neighbouring timezones are welcome to apply, and transferred players are of course welcome , but will have to adjust their schedules to be compatible.

Currently, Hong Bao is looking for someone who - above all - has a good attitude, can take direction, has a capacity for learning and behaves like an adult (the average age of the group is quite high). That being said, a moderately thick skin is important: arguments, banter, criticism and volume are all certainties in this group. Finally, being hungry to compete (i.e. motivated) is important as nothing can substitute drive.

Ideally, we’re looking for an experienced healer. This applies to their role, raiding and preferably, blind prog. However, we will consider any application that gels well with what we’re looking for, regardless of job or role.

As mentioned earlier, our intention is to world prog. Before you contact us, consider the amount of hours you can devote on the week of 4.4’s release very carefully. You will also need to be willing to commit a decent chunk of time to us leading up to 4.4 so all parties can acclimate, build a sense of esprit de corps and iron out any issues that may be impacting our efficacy.
