Lets talk about the bunnie FATE (Pagos)

So I just hit level 25 in Pagos and I have reached the light gathering...sorry the Frosted Protean Crystals gathering stage. So to complete 1 weapon in pagos you need:

Step 1: 5 Frosted Protean Crystals - ilvl 360 weapon

Step 2: 10 Frosted Protean Crystals and 500 Pagos Crystals - ilvl 365 weapon

Step 3: 16 Frosted Protean Crystals and 5 Louhi Ice - ilvl 370 weapon

So you have to fill up your kettle 31 times. ( And I have no idea what a Louhi Ice is.)

The problem is as far as I can see is that, you can only get a silver reward in fates unless you have a Hakutaku Eye Cluster which can only be made from mats that drop from chests that a bunnie can lead you to. ( Also some of the pagos gear drops. Like the scorpion gear from the first Eureka.) And I am guessing that gold rewards give more to filling the kettle as well as EXP.

I have done this fate 5 times and with no EXP and no bunnies. 1 person in our group got a bunnie and all they got for the trouble of following the infernal rabbit was was some Materia. This seem to me as least to be stretching the grind out just a little to much.

If you want to keep the FATE with no EXP and for it to be just about the bunnies then you need to buff the spawn rate for them. Or if you want to keep the rate the same then make the FATE easier to complete so smaller parties and do it and so farming dose not take all year.

But if you don't want to do that then give the FATE a small amount of EXP so at least people don't just rush past it.

I really like Eureka, but this seems to be setting the bar just a little to high.

You only need an item to get gold for specific FATEs, but yeah, the bunnies are poorly designed.

Louhi Ice is the Pagos equivalent of Pazuzu's Feathers.

You can get gold in most fates without an item. The Hakutaku Eye Cluster is needed specifically for the FATE in which you fight its namesake.

The elemental conflicts suck though. There's no XP and at least half the time you walk away with absolutely nothing for your troubles. They should at least award some XP.

31 frosted crystals 500 pagos crystals and 5 snowzuzu feathers? lol..... so long getting every job their eureka pagos ilvl370 weapons dream. xD

The bunny chest mats are prohibitively expensive on my world, almost 1m for the sage used in exp buff potion and almost 500k for the water, so nobody uses the exp potion and none have sold on marketboard for the 1.4m price a few sellers are trying.

I think S-E intended bunnies to be played a lot by making it auto spawn constantly and conveniently positioned near the home point. It just confused people by taking the appearance of a Fate but offering zero exp. There aren't many people who understand its purpose or value the potential rewards.

That might be because the potential rewards are less likely to be obtained than some crappy Materia.

You think people would be more willing to do the bunnies if the Chests they lead you to have the EXP that you would have gotten from the FATE? Maybe make a bonus thing like: Copper=100% exp Silver=150% exp Gold=300%exp

as far as i can tell the only things you get from the bunny fate is junk, gil, hakutaku eyes, exp potion mats, and stuffed bunny
if optical hat isn't important to you they're pretty awful

you do only need the eye cluster for the one fate and all it does is let the hat drop, silver gives full reward otherwise

Also find it kind of weird that they made the special eureka gear so hard to get. chances are you'll be done with pagos before you get even one piece

Well, I got a minion and an eye within 3 bunny fates, which sells for 5mil and 15mil respectively on my server. It can be pretty profitable, but you gotta spam it, and get lucky.

That spawn rate of gold chests appearing from the bunny fate is even more pathetic. 8hrs a day, 3 days in a row and I have yet to see a gold chest. I'm pretty much done with pagos until they adjust the frequency of gold chests.
